What's going on in Marmalade Yarns?

New Additions

Over the last couple of years we have been stockong up on different buttons we think are good for knitwear and recently received a new batch to add to our collection. We all know how frustrating it is to finish a beautiful garment then struggle to find appropriate buttons. If you find the perfect buttons they can be the crowning glory of a handknitted cardigan.

We love to find interesting new yarns to add to our stock and this season we were keen to start stocking some West Yorkshire Spinners Yarns. They produce high quality british wool yarns in delightful colours and they are lovely to work with. We agreed the sock yarn is fantastic and have settled on the Sweet Shop Range and a few of the British Bird colours too. We are hoping to expand the stock for next season.

We also fell in love with Juniper Moon Farm yarns. We couldn't resist the silk wool and now have lace weight and dk in stock.

I have the perfect project I am about to cast on in the Findley dk, another cardigan knitted with a steek and featuring sheep. You can see the pattern on Ravelry  here. Watch this space for progress reports.
